Shipping & Returns
Delivery costs within New Zealand will vary depending on your purchase. Freight costs will be clearly stated at point of purchase in the check out area of our site for you to see. Please note there will be an additional charge for rural deliveries. There is a 'rural delivery' checkbox if you, or the destination of your product has a rural address. If rural delivery is required, and this box is not checked then delivery will be held until payment is made.
We care about the timeliness of delivery and quality of products you receive. If you make a purchase from off this site and are concerned at the lateness of a delivery or the condition of the goods, please contact us and quote the order number that you received with your order confirmation.
CANCELLATIONS
You can add or remove items from your shopping cart, or cancel your order at any stage during the checkout process. Until your order is confirmed, you are not bound to purchasing products while browsing on our site. To cancel after your order is confirmed, you must contact us directly by phone on 0800 NEXTDAY (0800 639 832) and quote the order number that you received with your order confirmation. Due to our same day dispatch service, we are unable to cancel an order or add or remove items from your order after the order has been sent. Confirmation of your cancellation will be given by email.
RETURNS
Unless otherwise stated with the product information, you may return items sold at Nextday shopping sites within 7 days of delivery for a part/full credit or refund.
Any items that are returned simply because you do not like the product, if returned within 7 working days, and in what Nextday considers an acceptable condition, will result in a credit of 80% of the purchase price. In this instance, you will not be entitled to a credit for freight paid to receive the product.
REFUNDS
If the return is a result of a processing error or product failure we will also cover the return shipping cost. Returns for instances such as these will either by replaced with the same product, credited or refunded. Refunds will be given in form of a cheque issued by Nextday and will be posted to the delivery address of the person who makes payment for that product returned.
We cannot accept returns of certain items, including:
RETURNING A GIFT?
If the item you're returning was sent as a gift when purchased, please note that the refund will be issued to the original purchaser. If you used a Nextday gift voucher to purchase the item, a Nextday gift voucher will be issued to the holder of the voucher at time of purchase.
Items Purchased from Nextday shopping sites should be returned directly to the Nextday Head office located in Christchurch. The return must be accompanied with a copy of the Nextday invoice received with the purchase, complete with the return portion filled in.
Any returning items are sent at the owners risk, Nextday will not take responsibility for any lost or damaged items. Accepted returns will be honoured by either credit note or direct refund as outlined above. If you are entitled to a credit, we will issue this directly to your Nextday account. Once this has been done you will receive an email confirmation. This can then be used to make a purchase. Once this is in your Nextday account, it can be treated like a Nextday gift voucher. Please see our section on vouchers for terms and conditions on transferring and/or redeeming a voucher.
If your return, whether for fault or other is only part of the original purchase, the original freight cost will not be credited to the refund.
If you used a Nextday gift voucher to pay for all or part of an item you want to return, that part of your refund, if a cheque refund is warranted will be credited to your account for use on a future purchase.
